Normal mobile network sites

Site maintenance (Technical maintenance of telecommunications network objects, fault termination and troubleshooting during the work of objects and round-the-clock network monitoring.)

Preventive maintenance; FAGOST has capability to perform Site Periodical maintenance on agreed interval for the Sites, which have been delivered to it as of the date of the entry into force of the Agreement, and on those Sites, which will be included in the scope of the Agreement by the Customer after the effective date of the Agreement in accordance with the technical Specs mentioned in Site Maintenance Form.

The periodical maintenance includes but not limited to following areas:

  • Uninterruptible power supply systems and storage batteries plan prophylactic maintenance
  • Electro technical laboratory metrological measurements
  • Microclimate systems service maintenance
  • Antenna towers and antenna feeder systems planprophylactic Maintenance

Corrective maintenance

Site corrective maintenance responsibility covers

  • Failure prevention maintenance on all the electronic systems
  • Failure prevention maintenance on all the equipment.
  • Failure prevention maintenance on alarm systems belonging to these systems.

The main focus for us during recovery is time frames to ensure the services are available in minimum time with best quality. Corrective maintenance works shall be fulfilled in accordance with the technical specs for Site Corrective Maintenance.

Diesel Generator services

  • Complex generator maintenance shall be performed once a month or afterhours of operation
  • Refueling of permanent generators; Delivery, installation and running, also refueling and maintenance of mobile diesel generators
  • Possible to implement alarm monitoring system and automatic ignition

Help desk services

  • Network Operation Center (NOC) responsible for monitoring for power failures
  • Communication line alarms and other performance issues that may affect the network.

From Concept to Reality

During the business review process, relative value propositions, preliminary engineering plans and architectures, capex and opex trade-offs, projects plans and a Statement of work are discussed and outlined and used to get a detailed project cost and scope. From that point, the pre-sales engineering plans and transition from concept to reality are confirmed. Transition Engineering and Project Management move your project from a preliminary engineering plan of attack to the Detailed Engineering plan.

A Site Survey is performed to test the assumptions made to develop the initial Statement of work and engineering efforts. This is a critical component to creating the final Engineering design package that will be used for actual Installation, Integration and Test & Turn-Up, whether in the Factory or the Field.

Just because your current fiber is handling the traffic, doesn’t mean it be able to handle next-gen traffic. Performing a Fiber Optic Characterization (FOC) prior to implementing your new carrier-grade network is highly recommended to ensure that your fiber is ready to handle increase bandwidth loads, any frequency adjustments and tighter channel spacing of your new equipment. This is especially true if your fiber has been in the ground for a while.

After the Site Survey and FOC have been completed, the Transition Engineering team finalizes the Detailed Engineering plan with any Discrepancy Reports and finalized Statement of work and Engineering design package with the Project Manager.

In the meantime, FAGOST Logistics Services team reviews the final plans and ensures that the right gear is ordered, labeled, recorded, staged, kitted and transport to the staging or install site.

For network implementation virtualization, from turn-key, green-field, Factory Built Network builds, to live operations node insert, to racking and stacking and fiber management down to using the proper rack screws, fiber connector cleaning process and post install site clean-up.
